Here you can find our immediate volunteer needs and opportunities.
Also, see if you are interested in our ongoing
volunteer opportunities here. If every parent would volunteer
for 3 hours per year, all of our volunteer needs would be met.
Don't forget an easy way to contribute is to participate
in rebate programs and retail
incentives that help save money for Highland Creek Elementary.
If you are interested in any helping the PTA, please provide
us with your information by 1) printing and filling out the Volunteer
Sign Up form and return it to your child's teacher, or 2) register
online here using the HCE PTA Manager. Here are step-by-step
instructions for first time users of the PTA Manager.

Calling all Friends And Neighbors (FANs) of Highland Creek Elementary
School . . .
To better serve our students, Highland Creek Elementary School,
in conjunction with the PTA, is pleased to announce the formation
of an exclusive Club designed to treat ALL volunteers as important
members of our school “family” — and you DO
NOT have to have children attending our school in order to join!
Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and friends etc. are all welcome.
Do you know someone who has some time to help read with a student
or even have lunch with a child? If so, please contact Louise
Carte, FAN Club Coordinator Email: fan@hcepta.org
or phone HCE, 980-343-1065 for more information.
Helping Your Classrooms
As our budget continues to be cut, fewer and fewer supplies are
being supplied by the school system and state. As a school our
teachers are having to spend more and more personal funds to provide
learning materials for students.
Our teachers at Highland Creek are starting to use a website
called DonorsChoose.org
to collect resources to benefit our children in the classroom.
If you go to this website and type Highland Creek into the search
engine you will see all of the projects that teachers from our
school would like to have funded. If you would like to help the
teachers of Highland Creek out go ahead and donate. If you are
not in the financial position to do this right now it would be
great if you could forward this out to someone you know might
be interested in helping us out.
We would really like to bring these classroom projects to life.
So check it out and see what you think! All DonorsChoose.org
projects are submitted by public school teachers who seek resources
essential to their student’s success. Donors can choose
from thousands of classroom projects, and then hear back from
the classroom they chose to help.
