5th Grade Parents and Guardians

We have had several parents inquire as to getting flowers for the children for the 5th grade celebration. We have worked out a deal with Do A Little Floral for a pre-order if you would like. The flowers will be delivered to the school the evening before (Monday, June 9th) and we will send details out regarding arranging pick-up the night before.

Also, we will be offering a 15/20 minute photo CD of 5th grade school memories, to pre-order if you are interested. The photos will be set to music. The more people who purchase the CD the more photos we can put on the CD. The price will be $10 per CD. Use this order form to order flowers and/or the photo CD.

School Supply Sale

As a convenience to parents (not a fundraiser), the PTA will be selling School Supply Packs again this year. The Supply packs contain all of the supplies that our teachers have chosen for each grade.

Supply order forms will go home in May with rising 1st-5th graders. Please return the order form with a check payable to the HCE PTA or purchase online with your credit card. Use School ID: HIG400 to login. (Online orders will include sales tax.) If you have misplaced your form and need another, select your child's grade for next year below:

Kindergarten	Third Grade
First Grade	Fourth Grade
Second Grade	Fifth Grade

The deadline to order school supplies is May 30, 2008.

Lost and Found Donations

On March 7, 2008 the lost and found items were donated between two charities, Room at the Inn and the Kidney Foundation. 70 sweatshirts, 42 hats, 10 winter coats, 4 pants, 20 lunch boxes, and many miscellaneous items such as gloves, scarves, water bottles, and belts were donated. By-Law Amendment Proposal

Giving Tree

The PTA Giving Tree Committee would like to extend its appreciation to the parents, teachers and staff, the Highland Creek Empty Nesters, Lisa Sperow with the Madison Avenue Closeouts, and Renaissance Bible Church for all of your generous contributions.

Thank you to Vera Wassweiler for all the shopping and wrapping and to Linda DeVercelly for helping sort all the gifts. Together you made the holidays special for 40 children.

Attention Online Shoppers!!!

Boxtops 4 Education has a Marketplace through which you can do all your online shopping. A portion of your purchases will be applied to our total goal for box tops collections. To have these purchases count you need to log onto the Boxtops 4 Education at www.boxtops4education.com and create a login for yourself. Once you have done this you can track the schools progress towards our goal and shop online at the marketplace. There is a full list of participating merchants and the percent which each merchant is paying. It is a great way to help the school and get all your holiday shopping done in one location.
